If a holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be observed on Friday, and if it falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on Monday.

 Republic Trash will be picking up all city of LaCenter resident’s trash on Mondays instead of Fridays beginning April 13, 2026. Please put your bins/cans on the curb for pick up on Sunday nights instead of Thursday nights on April 12, 2026. The trucks will not run the Friday before that but will run that Monday instead.
